Grinding Circuit
Spodumene ore is crushed and ground down to a smaller size to prepare. Hydrite and dualamite reagants are milled an added into the process.


Fluidized Beds and Calciner
Lithium, Sodium and Potassium, are converted to water soluble solvates at 1000°C, then air cooled in the calciner.

Leaching / Flotation
Dissolved, along with trace amounts of Magnesium and Calcium. Other impurities remain insoluble. Leach solution is cycled to maximize lithium concentration.


Evaporation and Crystallization
Clarified leach solution is mixed with recycled solutions and fed to evaporators, lithium sulfate is further concentrated.


Thickening
Concentrates slurry by removing excess water using gravity to concentrate fine solids, optimizing slurry density for downstream filtration as potassium sulfate.


Lithium Recovery Tanks
Trace calcium and magnesium are removed from concentrate, then lithium carbonate is precipitated by adding sodium carbonate.


Filtering and Drying
Filters by-product (Glaubers Salt) and lithium carbonate after lithium recovery, or potassium sulfate from thickening, wash and dry for bagging.
