This second part of a 2-part series on valve materials of construction will introduce engineers and purchasers to common non-metals used in the construction of valves for various process and production industries. Particular attention will be given to elastomers and plastics benefits and technical limitations in various service fluids and applications. Ceramics will also be addressed.
