The semi-lug Series 953 Knife Gate Valve is engineered to reduce the weight of a full lugged body and provides a cost-effective solution with the same reliability and high performance of the Series 943 full lug design.
The standard metal-to-metal seating with optional unique self-locking RPTFE seat or soft seat is engineered for high performance unidirectional sealing for general purpose on/off service and isolation of clean, dirty, corrosive, abrasive, viscous, and high temperature media. Designed for maximum performance, options for both the Series 943 Knife Gate Valves and Series 953 Knife Gate Valves include replaceable deflection cone and zero leakage resilient seats.
