The Resolute Ball™
The Resolute Ball™ was designed working closely with our customers to address a variety of challenges within their applications. In many harsh applications, media accumulates on the upstream side of the ball in the closed position, causing scale buildup. Over time, the media accumulation leads to increased operating torque and damaged seal surfaces, causing valves to seize or leak prematurely.

Reduced Torque
Minimized seat-to-ball contact area during operation drastically reduces torque required to operate the valve. Reducing seat drag against media buildup allows for ease of operation with standard actuation in conditions that would seize traditional ball valves.

Self-Flushing
The modified Resolute Ball™ design minimizes effects of media buildup on the ball sealing surface and allows media particles to be flushed through the body cavity upon opening, preventing accumulation.

Reduced Wear
The Resolute Ball™ geometry reduces seat wear by as much as 70% due to minimized seat-to-ball contact during operation, providing extended service life, increased reliability, and reduced total cost of ownership.
