Segmented Ball Control Valve Improves Performance and Profits

Within a sugar plant, raw juice from the milling train is sent to be purified and separated through a carbonation process. Milk of lime is added to the raw juice, to remove non-sugar impurities, before the juice is sent to heaters and clarifiers. The purification and separation process is highly abrasive. Raw juice contains fiber, sand, rocks, and minerals — requiring valves designed to handle aggressive media, while ensuring continuous service and uptime during the production campaigns.
